We would like to thank all of the players, sponsors and donors who supported our first ever charity golf day on 17th May 2017. We had a great time and raised a fantastic amount of money for our Brunswick Hub services. Please click here to read a letter from our Chair of Trustees.
We’re looking for golf players! Whether a seasoned player, a novice, or a fan of golf and want to give it a go – if you would be interested in taking part please have a look at this flyer.
Brunswick Hub is delighted to receive a grant of £102,857 over five years from the Big Lottery Fund. This money is specifically for our Dementia Services, which will now be called:
“Triple Link – Bringing Together People with Dementia, Carers and Community”.
Over the last 12 months, we have been running a Dementia Café, which enables people with dementia and their carers (family and friends) to access support, information and enjoyable activities within the context of a friendly and safe social group. This award from the Big Lottery Fund will now allow us to extend and develop the service.
We are also grateful for the ongoing support of local charity, the Pam Britton Trust for Dementia.
The group will continue to meet on the First and Third Wednesdays of the month, from 11am-1pm, starting from Wednesday 18th January 2017.
If you would like further information about this project, including how you can get involved, please contact Hilary White on:

Alternatively, just drop in to Brunswick Hub and we will be happy to chat to you.
Would you like a seasonal selection of affordable fresh vegetables and fruit each week, delivered to Brunswick Hub ready for you to collect? The bags always contain potatoes, onions of some type (brown, red, spring) and carrots, plus another two types of vegetable and two types of fruit. Prices are £3 for a small bag and £4.50 for a large one. The scheme runs on a ‘pay as you go’ basis, so you do not have to order a bag every week.
You can order and collect your Veg Bags from Brunswick Hub Reception – simply register for the service and give us a named empty carrier bag (cloth or long-life) together with your payment. Orders need to be placed by 12pm on a Tuesday and your delicious fruit and veg will arrive on Thursday of the same week.
Community Veg Bags is a local ‘not for profit’ organisation based at the Sydni Centre. All of the money from orders is used to bulk-buy fresh produce through a local greengrocer; volunteers then divide up and pack all the goodies.
For more please ask at Reception. Alternatively, you can Ali on 07905 406416 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
